Idowu O Sonoiki

Idowu Olukunle (Kunle) Sonoiki was called to the Nigerian Bar on 16th December 1992 and immediately started his career working in the law firm of Messrs Kehinde Sofola & Co., one of the foremost law offices in Nigeria.

While working there he undertook a wide variety of work including mainly civil litigation in areas of law such as commercial disputes, insurance claims, torts and contract. He also worked on matrimonial disputes, land matters and company secretarial duties for corporate clients.


In 1997 he set up his own practice in Lagos, Nigeria under the name of Kunle Sonoiki & Co. where he continued the same areas of practice as at Kehinde Sofola & Co.


In 2005 as a means to expand his scope of practice Kunle was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales upon which he relocated to England and worked as a Solicitor until he became a partner in Taylor Wood Solicitors in December 2007.

 

Since he qualified in England he has worked mainly in residential property conveyancing and immigration.  He also undertakes civil litigation work in the torts and contracts fields.
